JAG chronicles the career of Commander Harmon "Harm" Rabb, Jr. (David James Elliott), resourceful Navy lawyer and officer in the Navy's Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps, who plays the diverse roles of investigator, prosecutor and defense attorney.

 Harm's partner and fellow JAG officer Lt. Colonel Sarah "Mac" MacKenzie (Catherine Bell) is a confident, tough, but emotionally vulnerable Marine Corps attorney. An equal match for Harm, Mac embodies her Marine credo of "rifleman first, attorney second."

JAG Season 8

The opening episode of Season 8 picks up where the last episode of season 7 left off.

With Lt. Bud Roberts in critical condition after stepping on a land mine in Afghanistan, viewers are brought to real-life issues facing US soldiers there.

But...since it's obvious JAG would not go there, well this season premiere decides to unravel something else altogether.

We see the once-mentors of Bud Roberts brought to near-tears as they grapple with the very real possibility of losing him.

Our beloved dynamic duo trying to comfort each other. Ah sigh. Be still those shipper hearts.

Seriously I lurrvvved Season 7. A lot of Harm/Mac working together, and those short tender moments in Tribunal and In Country. Mac in fatigues. Harm warming Mac in the desert under the stars.

Honestly, I'm getting fed-up with MediaCorp Channel 5. Where's my JAG fix? Show "Witchblade" at another god-forsaken time. 3am Monday nights for instance. I want my Harm and Mac!!!
